Pyro Prologue

Prologue
It was a small village. There was an inn, a few houses, a stable and little else. It was located on the outskirts of the kingdom of Artallo, at the base of Mount Ontarius. A large manor sits a little ways up the mountain. It used to belong to a rich family that was believed to be a part of the royal family until the great choosing. Ever since a raging fire had destroyed the forest that covered the mountain and the house it was believed to be possessed by a great and powerful sorceress and her demon apprentice.

Pyro Chap 2The three friends are sitting at a small table in Helias’ kitchen. A pitcher of lemonade that Chase had made sat in the middle along with three abandoned glasses.
“I’ve failed” Helias moans. “I vowed to protect him. With this he puts her head on the table in defeat. Chase and Hunter exchange worried glances. Helias was known to have an iron will. She never gave up.
